Sandra finds joy in capturing the moods of the landscape and has spent years painting outdoors in locations from Florida to California. She enjoys Durango and the Four Corners because it offers such a rich and varied environment for plein air painting. Her outdoor studies are often used as references for larger studio pieces.

Sandra recieved her Bachelor of Fine Art from California College of the Arts in Oakland. An award winning artist, she has participated in a number of varied and one woman shows. Her professional memberships include Oil Painters of America and Pastel Society of the Southwest as a past president and signature member.
